IGB Game Day Genomics

I volunteered in the Game Day Genomics, a yearly event hosted by the Carl Woese Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on September 2018. This is an IGB outreach program exposing the community and children to the concept of evolution and genetic research. Games are designed to familiarize the children with DNA, base pairs, and genomic material and photo booth for taking photos with science equipment, lab coats, etc. is provided. It was a great and fun event! We had so many enthusiastic kids and their parents at our table. Here are some photos:
