Since I wrote this post, our institute has won the Freezer challenge for the fourth time in row and the lab I am in has been registering for 3 of those.

It is exciting to say that our institute has won the international freezer challenge for the second time! Two years in a row, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign ranked 1st among the academic institutions in this competition by saving lots and lots of energy! We are proud of you Illinois! Once again, our lab was among the participants and our photo was published in Nature: https://www.nature.com/articles/d42473-019-00288-0
